LOGICO PICCOLO – Thinking Skills · Perception and Visual Recognition
As children grow up in an increasingly complex world, they need to develop higher order thinking skills. In the past years, educators started to emphasize the importance of an education that includes critical and creative thinking. These thinking skills enable children to solve social and economic problems personally and globally. Training of thinking skills improves the learning process and helps children perform better in school tests.
The LOGICO series “Thinking Skills” offers primary school age children exercises to develop and improve critical and creative thinking. Each LOGICO set in this series is focused on certain thinking activities. This way, teachers and parents can select the item appropriate for the individual child and level.
The LOGICO sets “Thinking Skills” can also be finished one by one.
LOGICO PICCOLO Sequencing
The importance of sequencing cannot be emphasized enough. Being able to recognize, complete, and sort sequences helps children organize patterns, information, events and ideas. It is a basic skill for coding and programming. By putting things or events in the right order, children learn to analyse, draw their own conclusions, and make decisions. Training of sequencing promotes understanding of cause and effect, composing (building and construction), and planning events and projects.
