The learning cards of “Shapes and Spatial Orientation 1” introduce to the world of geometry in a playful and motivating way.
The exercises
• Promote the development of spatial perception and imagination
• Consolidate the understanding of spatial terms (left-right, up-down …)
• Help children to recognize and name geometric shapes and thereby give them their first knowledge of geometric shapes.
In addition to the questions on the cards, examples are often given with pictures. The basic shapes such as triangles, rectangles, squares, and circles are introduced with their characteristics at the beginning of cards 12, 13, 14, and 16.

    Suggested Ages: 5-10 years old.

        PICCOLO range works with Logico PICCOLO Board (an advanced version of PRIMO board) that comes with 10 colourful, movable buttons. Slip one of these 16 cards to the slot and children can then match the answer by moving the buttons to the correct slots. It can be used for play-based learning at home, at school and in kindergarten. It is also a great travel game with no loose parts. LOGICO develops literacy and numeracy skills , logical thinking, colours and shapes recognition, geometry skills, concentration...etc
