Hair Accessories

Hair accessories are ornaments that are something to do with hair. It can be either made of metals, plastic, fabrics, beads or stones. Not only it gives credit to hair-look and styles of ones. Hair accessories can be used to fix a hairstyle and there are many ways of wearing each type of them.

Many do believe that hair accessories like Kanzashi or Hair Stick is used by ancient Chinese & Japanese women as a defence in emergencies.

Hair Sticks are widely used by both men and women in ancient China to help keeping their hair in place,  government officers in ancient Chinese dynasties use a Hair Stick to hold hair under their official hat and thus, a different material of Hair Stick has became a symbol of weath and social status.

Hair Pins are usually used to fix a hairstyle. One of the main purpose of using Hair Pin is to avoid long hair by getting intact with eyes or block ones vision.

Hair Combs are used in securing long hair in place as well as a nice decoration on head. German Humanist Julius E. Lips indicated that the earliest comb was graved in later Stone-Age and were also found in many rock arts and cave paintings. So it is believed that Hair Combs were used thousands of years ago and still a hot & fancy dress idea.
