Bracelets

Bracelets are worn around wrist and are made of different materials including metals, stones, beads, plastic, woods, leather and shells. It is worn throughout history by ancient Egyptians, Bulgarian and Latin Americans. It is a myth to them that it will bring good fortunes and will also cast the evil powers from harming them. In ancient India, bracelets are worn to show marital status.

In year 1987, the former World Champion Woman tennis player Grand Slam who was playing in U.S. Open accidentally broke her designers' bracelet in the match and has caused a termination of tennis match to allow her to recover her diamond which was attached on her bracelets earlier. This incident has sparked a huge fashion trend to bracelet market until today.

Formal bracelets (Gold, Silver or metal made bracelets) are common women's fashion accessories. While in Western popular culture both younger men and women may wear casual leather bracelets that are flexible to adjust according to the length of individuals.
